Remembering Kenyatta Redden

When Kenyatta Redden, well known to many deli counter shoppers at Hannaford, died suddenly last year, his colleagues organized a food and funds drive in his memory. Now, Hannaford associates are making it an annual event to benefit Loaves & Fishes.

Assistant Deli Manager Patrick Bell (shown here with Hannaford's Nick Bartlett and pantry stalwarts Ken Hoogerhyde and Charlie Dayhoff) notes that Kenyatta himself had experienced food insecurity -- making this drive the perfect way to honor his memory.
